On April 13th and 14th Sex, Love & Spirit welcomes porn star and sex positive activist Annie Sprinkle to Portland.
On Friday she will give a lecture on “EcoSexuality”, to be followed by a soiree at the Lotus Heart Center.
On Saturday, she will give a workshop on Ecstatic Breathing and Energy Orgasms, also at the Lotus Heart Center.
Both events promise to be hot AND educational.

Annie Sprinkle Ph.D. is the prostitute/porn star turned artist/sexologist. She has passionately researched and explored sexuality in all of its glorious and inglorious forms for thirty six years, and has shared her findings all along the way through producing and starring in her own unique brand of sex films, photographic work, teaching workshops, and college lectures. She is also an internationally acclaimed artist who tours theater pieces, and shows visual art, about her life in sex and love.
On April 27th-28th, author and sex-educator Deborah Sundahl will also be gracing us with a lecture and workshop.
On Friday April 27th, Deborah will present the lecture: “Female Ejaculation: Why Women Love it and How to give this Amazing Gift.” This will be followed by a social and cocktail hour. Both will take place at the Lotus Heart Center.
On Saturday April 28th, Deborah will offer an intensive women’s only workshop that will also focus on Female Ejaculation. This event will also be held at the Lotus Heart Center.

As the President of The Foundation for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, I am pleased to confirm that you and Cacilda Jetha are the recipients of the Harriet and Ira Reis Theory Award in Sexology for 2011.
Your book, “Sex at Dawn” was selected by the Review Committee for this Award particularly for its integration of social and sexual behavior into evolutionary theory. It is believed that the resulting socially-based
view of the development of human sexual behavior adds significantly to the understanding and appreciation of the role and impact of social factors in the long-term evolution of sexual behavior.
